Feminist Frequency -- A series of feminist critiques on popular culture. Very useful for looking behind mainstream popular culture and analysing from a viewpoint not often discussed in classrooms.

How Popular Culture is Making Us Smarter -- This speech given by Steven Johnson is great for illustrating how video games can be relevant to education, especially in the context of city-building and strategy games.

RSA Animate -- Language as a Window into Human Nature -- An excellent series of hand drawn lectures exploring different ideas and scientific schools of thought. This particular talk is one that resonates with me as it shows how language and media can be so important in shaping our human nature. This would be useful for teaching students about lesser known topics.

Madeon - Pop culture (live mashup) -- This is a video I personally love. A DJ took 39 song tracks from pop culture and remixed them all into a beautiful mesh of sound. I had this in rotation on my iPod for my first few years of university.

Charlie Brooker's Screen Wipe -- Charlie Brooker analyses chiefly TV, as well as other media, and breaks them down to bare elements for comparison. This is another fantastic show that covers pop culture analysis.
